Slack channels

Ingest message history from Slack channels to give RunLLM context from your team's conversations.

Parameter	Description
Channels	Names of the channels to ingest messages from (e.g., engineering, incidents). After installation, you must add the RunLLM app to each of these channels.
Message history (days)	How many days of message history to ingest. Note that Slack's free plan limits message history to 90 days regardless of this setting.

Once you hit Save, you will be redirected to the Slack app installation page. Select the right workspace and install the RunLLM app; this requires admin permissions.

Add the RunLLM app to the right channels

Slack does not allow apps to read from channels they haven't been added to. After installation, you must add the RunLLM app to every channel you want to ingest. You can do this by opening the channel and typing /invite @RunLLM.
